This adorable girl is just waiting for cuddles!  She's playful and energetic yet ready to curl up in your arms for a mid-day nap. What a great companion she will make for some lucky human. You perhaps?

Camper's Timeline

Welcome to the World, Camper!

Camper was born at 2:33AM Tuesday March 10th 2020 and weighed in at 10.6 ounces. She was the 1st to be born in her litter. After her cleanup she started nursing right away. What a little bundle of joy!

Week One - Stength in the Numbers

3/10/20 - 3/16/20


This week was all about nursing and gaining weight. Breaking one pound in the first week, way to go Camper! 
        
      -Day 7:     1 lb 0.1 oz.     
     -Day 6:     15.3 oz.     
     -Day 5:     13.4 oz.
     -Day 4:     12.3 oz.
     -Day 3:     12 oz.
     -Day 2:     10.9 oz.
     -Day 1:     10.8 oz.  



On day 2, Camper had her puppy wellness exam and was given a clean bill of health from our local Veterinarian. 


On day 4, Camper had Veterinarian perfomed dewclaw and tail. 

Week Two - Eyes wide Shut

3/17/20 - 3/23/20

Weight gain has started to ramp up this week, she was well on her way to 2lbs!

      -Day 14:      1 lb 11.6 oz.     
     -Day 13:      1 lb 10.3 oz.
     -Day 12:      1 lb 8.2 oz.     
     -Day 11:      1 lb 6.3 oz.
     -Day 10:     1 lb 4.3 oz.
     -Day 9:       1 lb 3.0 oz.     
     -Day 8:       1 lb 1.3 oz.

Eyes are still shut but she sure is moving around!

She started standing more and walking a bit more than last week. 

Week Three - Seeing is Believing

3/24/20 - 3/30/20

Her eyes are finally open to see the world and she's really moving around this week.
    
     -Day 21:      2 lb 7.4 oz.
     -Day 20:     2 lb 5.0 oz.
     -Day 19:      2 lb 3.0 oz.
     -Day 18:      2 lb 1.5 oz.
     -Day 17:       1 lb 15.3 oz.
     -Day 16:       1 lb 14.2 oz.
     -Day 15:       1 lb 13.3 oz.

She broke that 2 lb mark. Next week lets see 3!

Week four - See no evil, hear no evil,                          bark no evil

3/31/20 - 4/6/20

With wide open eyes and ears, she started to see and hear her surrounding and begin to understand what they are "Whats that noise? Was it a squirrel? What's a squirrel? Either way, play time!!"

So many new things to experience, she started playing a lot more with her playmates and discovering all the fun chew toys!

     -Day 28:    3 lb 0.6 oz.
     -Day 27:     3 lb 0.1 oz.      
     -Day 26:     2 lb 14.7 oz.
     -Day 25:     2 lb 13.7 oz.
     -Day 24:     2 lb 12.6 oz.
     -Day 23:     2 lb 11.1 oz.
     -Day 22:     2 lb 9.3 oz.

She made it to 3 lbs this week!


At the end of the week, the pen was doubled in size and potty training began.

Week five - Please sir, may I have                         some more, gruel?

4/7/20 - 4/13/20


With a great start to potty training it was time to move on to more grueling (just being punny) tasks. 

Day 30 marked the first day eating a bit of puppy gruel. Camper learned immediately to  eat from the bowl giving mom a much needed temporary break from the nursing.
    
     -Day 35:     4 lb 7.1 oz
     -Day 34:     4 lb 3.1 oz
     -Day 33:    3 lb 15.4 oz
     -Day 32:    3 lb 11.8 oz
     -Day 31:     3 lb 9.1 oz
     -Day 30:     3 lb 4.7 oz.
     -Day 29:     3 lb 2.8 oz. 


Week Six - Full of Energy

4/14/20 - 4/20/20

With gruel last week and a move to wet kibble this, Camper started to gain weight at an accelerated pace. And with all that started to show some of that puppy energy.

She's showing much more interest in the toys now running and jumping and having the time of her life with her littermates. Wait until she sees the great outdoors!

-Day 42:     6 lb 4.9 oz
-Day 41:      6 lb 1.2 oz
-Day 40:     5 lb 10.4 oz
-Day 39:     5 lb 6.3 oz
-Day 38:     5 lb 1.2 oz
-Day 37:     4 lb 12.8 oz.
-Day 36:     4 lb 8.6 oz.
